On Monday, June 6th, youth from across the Episcopal Diocese of Nebreaska will leave for the town of Jaraboca in the Dominican Republic. While there, their goal is to cut down some trees to make room for vegetable gardens that will provide the nearby barrio with year-round fresh vegetables at low cost. We are still waiting for government approval to cut down trees on church property. However, we fully expect this project to be approved. Throughout the week, internet permitting, we will post pictures and periodic updates on our progress. I encourage you to follow the work of our team and keep them in your prayers.
